1.LED products should use DC constant current power supply
In order to reduce the cost of products, some manufacturers use "resistance, buck" to supply power to LED products, which will directly affect the life of LED products. Using a dedicated switching power supply to power LED products will not affect the service life of the product. It is best to use a constant current source, but the product cost is relatively high.
2.It should be noted that the increase in temperature will make the internal resistance of the LED smaller
When the temperature of the external environment increases, the internal resistance of the LED light source will decrease. If the power supply is stabilized, the LED operating current will increase. When the rated operating current is exceeded, the service life of the LED product will be affected. The LED light source is "burned out", so it is best to use a constant current source to ensure that the working current of the LED is not affected by the external temperature.
3.Pay attention to the sealing of LED products
No matter what kind of LED products, as long as they are used outdoors, they are faced with moisture-proof sealing problems. If they are not handled properly, they will directly affect the service life of the LED products. A small number of manufacturers with high product quality requirements now use the traditional epoxy resin "pouring" method to seal LED products. This method is more troublesome to operate. For larger LED products (such as LED guardrail lights) Not very suitable, it will also cause the weight of the product to increase.
4.Need to take anti-static measures
Certain anti-static measures should be adopted during the processing of LED products, such as: the workbench should be grounded, workers should wear anti-static clothing, with anti-static rings, and anti-static gloves, etc. If necessary, anti-static ions can be installed The fan also needs to ensure that the humidity of the workshop is about 65% to prevent the air from being too dry to generate static electricity, especially the green LED is relatively easy to be damaged by static electricity. At present, the most widely used control technology of LED guardrail lights is "serial communication" (mainly based on DXM512 protocol). The advantage is that each guardrail lamp has no specific "code", and each can be exchanged arbitrarily, which is convenient for production and engineering installation. But its biggest disadvantage is that once there is a damage, it will directly affect all the guardrail lights behind it, just like a car driving on a single-lane road. Once a car "breaks down", it will cause all the cars behind it to fail. normal operation. For the guardrail light project of hundreds or even thousands of kilometers, due to the influence of external factors and the quality of the product itself, it is difficult to ensure that each guardrail light does not have problems, so it is easy to cause "traffic jam paralysis".
