The brightness of the LED display screen refers to the light intensity emitted per unit area in the normal direction (vertical direction) of the display screen, with nit as the unit of measurement (1 nit=1cd/m²). Assuming that there are 1000 lamp beads on a 1㎡ LED display screen, and the brightness of each lamp bead is 5 candela (cd), the brightness of this screen is 1000 × 5cd/㎡=5000nit.

Brightness directly determines the visible distance, adaptability to the environment and information transmission efficiency of the display screen. The "bottom line" of brightness is different under different viewing distances and environments.

Brightness directly affects the user's viewing experience. Too high brightness will cause the viewer's eyes to be dry/eye fatigue, and insufficient brightness will cause the color saturation to decrease, affecting the realism of the image.

As the brightness of the display screen increases, the power consumption increases accordingly.
